Bio:

She completed her Ph.D. in Nanotechnology from Jain (Deemed-to-be) University, Bengaluru October 2015 to May 2020). Her doctoral research focused on the “Synthesis, Characterization, and Application of Functional Nanomaterials for Quantum Dot Solar Cells.”

In 2022, she joined the Department of Materials Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, as an IoE Postdoctoral Fellow funded by the institute. During her tenure, she worked on sustainable energy materials for energy applications. In 2024, Dr. Jagadish was awarded the prestigious WISE-KIRAN Postdoctoral Fellowship (Women Scientist-A) and has joined the team in January 2025. Her upcoming research will focus on engineering chalcogen and perovskite materials for energy applications.
